WAIT WAIT WAIT...

😳 129!??! 😳

Uh.. what happened to 299 plus 100 MIR?
They realized they needed to take a loss on the actual handset at first to get the first few units rolling. They could make that puppy free and I still wouldn't tie myself to a contract with sprints terrible coverage and customer service. Work on th...

Samsung Omnia/ i907 much better device even with WinMo

I often enjoy a bunch of incessant whining from typical CDMA/Sprint fanboys/girls about how the Instinct is going to be the next iphone. Once again Samsung screwed you guys over. They gave you the Instinct with some terrible UI, yes I am afraid the critics were right on other forums for criticizing the browser it is kind of a pain to navigate on. Now with comparison with the Samsung Omnia even with the WinMO 6.1 it blows the Instinct to smithereens. Once that device is launched the Instinct will end up like the likes of the Voyager for Verizon and the Vu for AT&T, forgotten for good reason. Plus with it being WinMo I can but Skyfire, opera or even Firefox mobile when that goes live. That's the trouble with this device I'd be stuck with...

GO TO PHONEARENA TO GET A REAL REVIEW ON THE INSTINCT

😁 😁 😁 😁
Yeah, I read that while I was at work today. (I don't work for Sprint; I was just interested in seeing the reviews that Instinct was getting.) They seem to be really thorough in their reviews, and I'd say (and they actually even admit) that their grip...

should be cheaper...

...based off of the phonescoop review.

another overhyped glyde.
I don't know... That is pretty good. Even more so if you can get them to take the $100.00 MIR and make it an instant credit (I ask Verizon when ever I get a new phone and they do it without a problem). And if you think about it, this is Sprint's secon...

Actually...Instinct is NOTHING like the Glyde

Completely different. Glyde is a phone with some cool features. Instinct is a smartphone with a brand new OS jointly created by Samsung and Sprint.
Seriously? Since when did Sprint and Samsung know how to create a robust mobile OS?

the instinct is not a smartphone!
Because I just got back from the Sprint store and tried it out. Wow, it's very much like the iPhone but better. You can actually remove the battery. It comes with a 2nd battery. It comes with a 2 GB card!!! The touch flo is amazing. The internet is fa...

eekkkkk, not a "Smart Phone" Or PDA. You can't sync your calendar and though it has some killer sync features and consumer/work email.... its not a PDA. It's more for all the other fun stuff.

It's $449.99 but realize for that $75 off that includes a new contract.

Best Buy Mobile

If anyone has a best buy mobile around them, you should go there to get the phone there. If they have sprint at their location, like we do here in dayton, ohio then the phone is $130 straigh out for a new customer activation and upgrades. We dont do mail in rebates, all the prices are out the door, and we have a 60 day exclusivity on the phone as far as 3rd party stores are concerned. So for those wo hate mail in rebates and want this phone cheaper now should do this.

samsung Instinct available at Sprint Kiosks

The Samsung Instinct is also available at Sprint Kiosks which are located inside your local malls. Pricing is the same, $129.99 after $100 mail in rebate. The kiosks released the phones for sale to the public this afternoon.

I have the iPhone...

...and the HTC Mogul.

I use the Mogul more because of SERO...dnd the fact that I have a full keyboard, full 3G everywhere I need it, WiFi I can use to share my connection, a web browser that's better than the iPhone's (Skyfire), GPS that works great with Google Maps (free) or TeleNav (cheap), etc. THe only thing I find lacking is battery life and Direct Connect.

Also, look at the economics of this thing: for $129 you get a phone where you can add unlimited storage on MicroSDHC. Eventually there will be 32GB cards for on the order of $160. So at that point you've got something bigger than the 16GB iPhone for less money. As it stands, this phone + an 8GB card is less than the subsidized 3G iPhone.

Also, because it has EvDO Rev. A it'l...

wait till the HTC Pro (Mogul II) comes to Sprint Q4 '08...!!!
