Glyde or Curve for non-internet users?

I have my New Every Two hitting on the 21st and I have the enjoyable problem of choosing between the Samsung Glyde or the Blackberry Curve for Verizon as my replacement phone.

I don't need the internet packet (for now), and I frequently text as well as make standard phone calls. Based on my needs, I feel getting the Curve MAY be overkill. I'm open to perhaps adding the internet plan onto my phone, but as it stands I feel the Glyde may offer more right out of the box (and with my existing, very affordable plan) than the Curve.

I'm a pocket-tech geek and both handsets look like a lot of fun to play with and to customize. I've never owned a handset with haptic feedback/touch, and I've also never owned a Blackberry, so both entice me.

Simply for the fact that the third party apps are all but infinite. The BlackBerry forums, namely pinstacker.com are some of the greatest online communities. Very tight nit group, BB users are. Also, push email seems non-vital till you start relying o...

Available in most stores

More stores should actually be displaying the curve for sale now. If one is not displayed, you can ask to buy one.
where are you located? i cant seem to find any stores that carry it in MD. also, how long does it take to receive it if i were to order it from VZ online

It's about time......

Finally as I'm about to drop my VZW line because I got a job with T-Mobile and none of their smartphones had VZ Navigator is when they release it. This is a nice phone with a lot of great features. The new version of VZ Navigator sounds really exciting with real time traffic updates. The only thing that bothers me is that I wonder how badly they will cripple this phone with their user interface. Oh well I'm going to get a T-Mobile dash with windows mobile 6.0 and a Garmin Nuvi 660. Kudos on this Blackberry 8330 none the less.
