They're just trying to copy T-Mobile. At least when we sell you the Linksys or Dlink router for $50 you get it back in a mail in rebate. Plus you can make unlimited calls through T-Mobile Talk Forever. Not just at home either.

Word... Femotcells will work with any phone, since its not wifi like TMobile's UMA.
Especially coming from the MyFaves company. They didn't copy that from Alltell, its a totally different name!

Whadda' ya mean "Do something original?" Now the fanboy tendencies rear themselves. This is a different product altogether than what T-Mo is selling. True, it still connects to the users broadband internet connection. The major difference is that you don't have to buy a specific phone that has a particular feature in order for it to work. From the standard candy-bar style, no-camera havin' basic phone to the top-of-the-line PDA with all the goodies, coverage is provided by a femtocell whereas the Hotspot@Home only works with a select FEW handsets that sport UMA capability. Both have their pros and cons but for the advantage of handset choice my pick goes to the femtocell, whoever the carrier is.
