Chip Firms Launch Wireless Joint Venture

I believe that STMicroelectronics is a branch or spinoff of Intel. Intel recently released a really power efficient, small processor called Atom. This might be one of the biggest pieces of news for PDA phones and cell phones in a long time. No more slow! WOOO!
Oops. Nevermind, Intel and STM spun off their flash memory brands into another company. This has nothing to do with STM's new venture.
