T-MOB better get on this one.

until T-Mobile upgrades to 3G the GPS wont be usable. I cant wait till they bring it out. GPS is a very handy tool and the sooner T-Mobile gets it the sooner i can dump verizon. Besides I dont think my employer cares that i'm with the competition but still it looks odd.
Not sure if T-Mobile is getting this, but I know AT&T is slated to launch it in the second quarter.

GPS doesn't require 3G to work. I used a BB 8820 a couple weeks ago over the course of a weekend without any problems...
This will probably be for ATT. Tmobile would get the 8120, since it has wifi for the UMA stuff.
...
Why are you guys mentioning 3G??
This model is EDGE only.
...
T-mobile won't be getting this..atleast not anytime soon. They're coming out with the 8120 pretty soon....And as far as 3G...they might have it by the end of this year but only in major cities...and for the rest of the cities it will be about 2 years....
(continues)
i think this version is going to be picked up by att ;)

????????

The sprint version already has gps has do all of sprint's blackberrys tis isn't news at all
Um, yea... the Sprint Pearl 2 has both RIM provided GPS built in, AND Sprint Telenav included in the Blackberry package, so, how does this qualify as a new version of anything???
...
Because this is the gsm version. At&t's version has already been set to eol and this could very well be the replacement. So this is news...
the news is that its a gsm compatible phone.

at&t I'm Sure

If the Curve II is any indication, at&t will get the 8110 (w/ GPS) and T-Mobile will end up with the 8120 (w/ wi-fi).
Will it have video record?
...
att and tmobile both picked this up.

tmobile's has wifi and uma though.

Why does it seem to always be wifi verses gps

Does anyone know why you seem to only have a choice between either having GPS or Wifi on the Blackberry phones??? I mean, can't they have both?
probably to keep it affordable ๐Ÿ˜ณ . The 8820 for AT&T has both wifi and gps w/ no camera and it's significantly more expensive than the curve or pearl.

Being Announced? This is out already...

Rogers in Canada has had this for about a month or more now... Why is phonescoop so delayed with this news?? ๐Ÿคจ ๐Ÿคจ
Because PhoneScoop primarily focuses on the US market, not Canada ๐Ÿ™‚
