I'm leaving AT&T first thing tomorrow!

๐Ÿ˜

I've been with AT&T for over 11 years and have enjoyed their service but when Sprint brought this out this is too good to be true! i'll miss AT&T but this is what every consumer wants! All for one liveable price! It beats the rest hands down!
Glad to have you!
YAYYYYYY It's kinda like the Iphone frenzy without the line LOL
...
YEah NO one can offer unlimited everything for $99. This will be good for Sprint when it comes to heavy testers and data users.

For voice onlt its for a very small segment of users that would benefit. IF I could use my Pone on Sprint I would even ...

customer service

do not let me repeat myself do not call cust. service to up to this plan they will not be able to put it on and will tell u to head to ur nearest sprint store and the nearest one to me is an hr away---just when u think there is a positive to sprint customer service shuts it down

booo sprint cust. service ๐Ÿคจ
you are full of cow dung. cust care will surely be able to switch customers with this plan.
...
Plan cannot be added even at Sprint stores until tomorrow. We just got word of this plan as well here at Sprint so it is news to us, although we were expecting something similar to whatever every other carrier was coming out with.
You obviously fail at reading comprehension. It says clearly that the plan is effective Febuary 29th. What day is today? The 28th. Oops.
...
The plan isn't available yet and when it does become available I don't why you wouldn't be able to get the plan from cust service..that doesn't make sense for someone to tell you that.
most cc hasnot been infomred of this plan yet. they can find it the codes wont be available until tomorrow so you cant change until tomorrow.
...
big time
...
Of course they wouldn't know about it because it was not announced to the entire company until Friday where we had a company-wide meeting where everyone was informed about the new plan. I didn't know about it until Friday morning at our store meeting...

There's still more

After this one we'll be launching family unlimited and family free incoming.
Already launched with the Simply Everything. $5 discount per additional line. (i.e. Line 1 = $99.99, Line 2 = $94.99, Line 3 = $89.99, etc.) Three lines would total $284.97. Limit of 5 lines though.

What about.....

You know what would be great, if cell phone companies would let customers tell them exactly what they want and then pro rate the plans based upon what the customers wants are.

So if a customer wanted 750 anytime mins unlimited txts and insurance on their phone then they could get a customized price for those options.

This could be the next best thing for companies to introduce.
Personally I don't see that happening any time soon. You see the best way for them to make money is to have you either pay more per month for what you won't use (for example the unlimited plan's) or pay less monthly but more in overages.

Just my ....

Qchat Mogul??

Since it can be upgraded to REV.A, Does anyone know if the Mogul be Qchat capable? Will this be included in the Simply Everything Plan, since it is not available now but will be in the future though?

The Skinny On The $99 Plan

The following was posted by a Sprint Service Rep on another blog. After reading it, you can bet I'm finding out how much it will take to get out of my Verizon Account. The same offer from VZ would cost me $149 which includeds my insurance. Read on.
_____________________________________________ __

Here is some inside scoop boys on the what exactly you hard earned $99 bucks gets you...and yes I am on the inside.
The simply unlimited plan includes:
* Voice
* Text
* Picture and Video Messaging
* Nextel Direct Connect and Group Connect
* Data services
o E-mail
o Web surfing
o GPS Navigation
o Exclusive Sprint content like NFL Mobile and NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile
o Sprint Music
o Sprint TV
o Ability to download songs, games, ringer...

Time will only tell how popular this plan is going to be and how the others will respond. As a verizon user, I actually hope it does extremely well, because hopefully verizon will lower their prices to retain customers.

Should be interesting to se...

Just Found Out.......Tell me its Not true

I was really intrested in this plan for my 2 lines. I read that If you have a phone that can be used as a modem you cannot have this plan. I just got the Samsung M520. In the phone description on sprint page it says can use phone as modem. So I dont qualify for this plan? If thats the case I am still within the 30 days I can return the phone and use my old phone is that correct. Someone PLEASE tell me its NOT true.
No that is not true you can still get the phone you just cant use it as a modem. So yes you can get the plan and the phone but there is no phone as a modem.

It'll be interesting to see how this effects churn. . .

It'll be interesting to see how these new rate plans from Sprint will effect customer churn from the other 3 carriers over the next year.

Competition sure is a wonderful thing.
It'll be customer churn that will dictate whether or not ATT or Verizon respond. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
I agree, i think that Sprint has made a pretty big push here, but there are a lot of people who are unhappy with CS and the plan might not be able to convince people to stay or come back. Also I think in general while all of the plans, (verizon, ATT, ...

I honestly see this plan helping Sprint improve customer service. It will prevent overages and mystery charges that people are constantly calling in for. Now you have no overages with this plan. It includes all the features that certainly ATT can't...

Simply Everything Direct Connect

WHat about sprint users that sign up for the simply everything plan that do not have direct connect? Will they be able to use it unlimited when Qchat comes out as long as they get a phone with qchat capabilities? Or will it have to be added on? I'm assuming that it will be included since it says "simply everything"...if someone has any info please add your 2 cents.
Qchat is still a while away. I'm sure it will be included since direct connect is included on this plan now.
...
Simply everything means everything......it's that easy. I'm sure Qchat, when it's actually possible to use, will be included at that point. Who knows what the future holds for phone features but the point is that no matter if you use Nextel, Powerso...

Question A Little Help Please

Please be gentle. I have 2 lines I assume I will benefit with the simply everything plan. ๐Ÿ˜• I understand that it will cost for the 2 lines 194.98 is the a charge for the second line like now I pay 20.00 per month for the second line. Is there a fee past the 194.98? or is it a 194.98 plus tax and all that other good stuff only? Right now I pay 150.00 for 2 lines and only one has a power pack pro where I get unlimited text tv(but have to subscribe to some channels) as well as music and unlimited web. I will be adding the pro pack to the other line in april due to the line not being use( hubby is in afghanistan) which is another 30.00. I am looking at another 20.00 more with this new plan. Would it really be worth it? ๐Ÿคญ
I'm not a rep but I do work in the stores for Sprint. It really depends on what you use for the vision services. I think the idea of having TeleNav and all the Sprint TV and radio stations is worth it. The one thing with going to this plan is that ...

No Thanks

I will keep my SERO, so this is what Hesse comes out with โ˜น๏ธ I am a little disappointed in this, he sits on his hands then doesn't come out with a lower price point! Many will see the same 99 price point and will still wonder why should I choose sprint.

No Corporate Discounts

When you say no corparte discounts are yuo talking for sprint employees or for people who get a discount for working for certain companys. I work for a compay that recieves a discount from sprint if I go to this plan would I no longer get that discount? ๐Ÿ˜•
Its a great deal regardless. Just want to know before I switch. That way I dont call customer service too many times and then receive a letter in the mail stating I have been dropped because I used the CS too much.

They mean NVP discounts. It's the discount that customers can get on their service just for working for certain companies. Many employees of other companies can save from 10-25% off their bills. It does not apply to the unlimited plan because the p...

Wow!

This is unbelievable! When we rolled out the Unlimited plan last week, I thought nothing could stop us. In fact, I figured it was a devious plan to push Sprint under once and for all and perhaps bring about a hostile takeover. This Hesse guy is sharp! I still think Sprint could use a name change and a good old fashioned house cleaning, but this response was very inspired. Verizon threw a jab and Sprint responded with a hay-maker. These Unlimited offerings are good for consumers in the end. Personally, I never like to see any company lay off thousands of workers in this industry. Perhaps Google or SK Telecom will still end up taking Sprint over or maybe not. I just like this response. If I were not getting the Unlimited Basic plan w...

New Plan vs. SERO?

So, how would this compare with the various SERO plans, especially if one wanted to add Sprint TV or streaming radio types of options. Will SERO be adding more features? Seems like this new set of plans could make SERO less compelling if one wanted to add features beyond the standard Xminutes/data/unlim. texting.
Hmmm...perhaps it's not supposed to compare with SERO, SERO is a referral offer, it's not for the mainstream customer. Actually, from my experience I have found that SERO is for cheapskates that Customer Care doesn't want to deal with so they transfer...

Text Messagin Question

I've noticed that when I receive texts from Verizon customers that sometimes the messages get cut off. My sister has AT&T, and when she sends me texts that are too long, they arrive as two messages.

Do some Verizon phones not have a text window that prohibits over-typing when sending texts?

Sprints only problem is Customer Care!

No Corporate Discount.............

Come on sprint.............they will not allow corporate discounts on this program. It figures
Yah we'll see...there will still be customers who are currently getting a discount, ask for the new plan, and the rep either forgets or is too lazy to remove the discount. I see SERO accounts all day that still get their business discount.
...
Stop complaining either way ur still getting a deal. What does it take for people to be satisfied? NOTHING!
...
Please remember that this only applies to the two Unlimited plans!! The 900/450 Unlimited and the 900/450 Text/DC/DCG plans allow the NVP/Corp discounts to be applied!
