Need to upload pics/video

Hello. My kid's Env3 was soaked in water and now the inner keys do not work. There was no SD card. I have pics and videos that I want to save but I can't send them via MMS because that is only available using the internal menu. I inserted a micro SD card but I can't save the pics to them using just the external keys. I connected the phone to my computer with the USB cable but it is only pulling up the internal memory and there are no pics or videos coming up. I can still see them on the phone but I can't get them off! Please help.

sent box problem

Once my sent box is full it'll have a blank message, no sender no content, as the top message and it won't auto delete anything. The blank message won't delete. What's wrong.

Changing External Wallpaper

Does anyone know how to prevent your external wallpaper from changing?

It changes when I get a new text. Or if I hit the OK button to answer/make a call. Or when I charge the phone. But it does this randomly, so there's no rhyme or reason.

I change back to a picture I want as my external wallpaper but just as quickly, often, it changes back to some nondescript ugly photo that isn't even in the pictures that come with the phone.

I asked a cell phone tech who checked my settings and said there was nothing to do because my settings were OK. ๐Ÿ˜• But I'm guessing there is something I can do. Right?

The tech also said I was the first person to notice and complain about this happening. That this was not a common problem. Has anyone ...

free or cheap ringtones for lg enV3

anyone know where I can find free or cheap ringtones for my new LG enV3.
Use songs that you load onto your card. You can use any song that you have on your phone.
...
check out phonezoo.com. They are free & they send them directly to your phone. You can even create your own ringtones & have them sent to you.
You should go to www.mobile17.com. You can make your own ringtones, and they sound excellent on the enV3! I've had a few on my phone that I made from there. Good luck!
also, funformobile.com or zedge.net with funformobile you can send those directly to your phone. zedge you have to download them to your computer then send them to your phone via picture message. yourphonenumberwithareacode@vzwpix.com with your email...

phone cant turn on, white screen

I got me a blue env3, and it wont turn on. Woke up, and it froze trying to send a message. I turned it off, powered it back on and it just says "verizon wireless" then flickers a white screen and does it over and over again till I take the battery out. This phone was up-to-date on the software/firmware, had about 40 pix on it and had the inbox emptied recently. This particular phone also was lost and found on the side of a road whichhas a speed limit of 40 mph, slung out of pants full force at a rock and dropped a gazillion times and still was taking pictures like the day I got it. And this is how it finally takes a dump. A software issue, at least what it looks like. The guy at a Verizon Store told me confidently that it was cause I had too...

env2 moving pictures

My daughter has a env2 with some pictures on the main memory. No card. Can I transfer those said pictures to a card if I put one in? She is getting a replacement phone and wants to save them. Is this possible or is there an easier way? we dont have a cable for the computer but get one. Would that be easier? I know I could mms them all but that would take too much time. Thanks in advance.

Dennis ๐Ÿ™‚
For future reference, getting a card would be the easiest, especially since she can use the card to later store more pictures on it or whatever! Not to mention, they are definitely a lot cheaper than they used to be! You could probably find one for ...

Change format for text messaging

I am used to having a very simple flip phone, so switching to this one will take a little getting used to. I noticed that with the text messages, you see both the received and sent. Is their a way that I can see the sent and the received in two different windows? It gets kind of confusing to me, but I was just wondering if their was a way to change it. If not, I can try to get used to it.
Thanks for your help!
If you go to messaging (open phone, left "soft" key) and go to settings, the first option called messages view allows you to sort your messages by time (with inbox and sent folders) or by contact.

I know I'm way late on this, but I thought someone ...

Thanks..
Never Mind.. thank.. you.. I found it..

Now that my memory card is in the phone, every new pic is save to my phone is saved in the middle of my pics!! It's a pain in the butt to locate it...is there any way to get my pics back in order as to when they were taken? ๐Ÿ˜•

?'s before i purchase

i'm trying to decide between this phone & the alias 2. so far i'm leaning towards this phone. however, i have noticed several reviews of ones saying the phone shuts off automatically. i asked a VZW rep about this & they said it's a software issue & if you get it updated, it will stop. has anyone had VZW update their software to correct this problem & did it work?

i also heard if you talk on this phone for several mins, it gets hot. is that true?

is the ring volume pretty decent? i currently have the LG Voyager & you cannot hear that dumb phone ring unless it's in your lap or absolute silence. & you still may not hear it.

how is the threaded messaging on this phone? i heard it's not that easy on the Alias 2. having threaded mes...

facebook recognizing phone?

So when I first started using facebook mobile on this phone, at the bottom it would read "facebook for your dare" or something like that. I assumed that facebook mobile wasnt recognizing the env3, so it just went with dare.

Well, about 2 weeks ago, I go on there, and the format is completely different. It no longer has my status at the top. It shows what people have posted on common friends walls, but it shows it as "joe bob thanks for coming over", doesnt say who the post is to or anything. And now at the bottom, it says "facebook for your versa" So it's now recognizing my phone as a versa, and the format completely changed.

Long story, here's the question...does anyone know how to change what facebook mobile recognizes your phon...

Phone shutting off & Restarting...

I am interested in buying this phone, and I have read many reviews that people have experienced this issue where the phone mysteriously shuts off and/or will turn itself back on, etc. Can anyone elaborate more on this problem and if this has been rectified with a software upgrade, or was this a bad batch of phones. - Any insight would be very helpful..

Thanks Again!!
once in a while while i'm texting on the external screen, i'll hit send and the screen will go completely white, i'll have to hold down the end button and my phone will turn back on and i'll have to re-type my message and send it again.

T9 won't learn new words...

I use the outside of the phone for texting a lot since it's faster for me than using the keyboard, but for some reason T9 word won't learn new words... I've tried to teach it things like 'haha' but it just won't do it.

Am i missing something? ๐Ÿคจ
Try typing 'haha' in via ABC mode first and then send the msg. The next time you type 'haha' in via T9 it should remember the word. I just tried this on the enV Touch and it worked, hopefully it works the same for the enV 3.
...
๐Ÿ™‚ Ok I have the EnV3 too and could not get it to work....I Did! When txting on the front screen change your Entry Mode (click options) to Abc then type in the word you and how you want it to look (captials etc.) but while doing this, do not backspace...

Hot Sync data with Palm

I am trying to find out if I can load calendar and addresses to the LG enV3 through the Palm Desktop or would I have to convert the data and enter it in Outlook first? Has anyone done this? I don't want to have to enter/type in all my information from my calendar and address book into my phone, and the whole reason for getting a new phone is this function. Verizon does not carry the "Palm" which would obviously work great. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

LG enV3 turns text pictures green?

My friend is trying to send me a picture from her LG enV3 but the image turns greenish when it gets to me. The weird part is that when I first touch it within the message (I have an iPhone) it flashes normal colors for a second before turning greenish again (you can still see the picture, it's just all shades of green -- the entire screen isn't green or anything). I tried importing it to my computer and it's still green. Any suggestions? I've received other pictures from her but none of them have had this issue. Thank you!
