And the cycle repeats....

This is being posted on all the announcements today regarding the unlimited voice plan.

Upon my research, which I generally do a lot of before writing a review, I found this cute little snippet (thank you web archive) - http://web.archive.org/web/20040201235921/www .whysprint.com/thenetworkdifference/?refurl=u hp_personal_promo_wlnp_20031124

That snippet is a post on Sprint's site back in 2004 claiming to be the most reliable network in America. (and why not..the other nationals were just starting up)

The claim states a phone is only a good as the network its on. (Does this sound familiar?)

Now, web archive is not letting me past the zip code field to confirm this, but I am pretty sure that Sprint's plans have had an Unlimited ta...

verizon number 1!!!!!!

verizon has the best coverage, and their unlimited plans start TODAY, unlike all the followers starting feb 21 lol...

GO VERIZON
already got mine
I can't wait to tell people I can save them $30 a month on their messaging bundles if they wait a few days! Ha Ha!
...
OH NOES we have to wait 3 whole days. Atleast we save $30 to $40 over you. 😎
...
Shouldn't you be pilfering livestock and residing under a bridge somewhere?

(Translation: Troll)
Verizon actually has less coverage than T-Mobile by population count. Putting Verizon at the bottom... (why else would a retailer with over 7,000 stores drop them)

Dont beleive me..check the facts on the websites or www.drakoswr.tk

Setting The Trend

Now just wait until 3G comes to be for T-Mo.

#1 in Customer Satisfaction
#1 in rate plans
#1 in coverage.

The fun is just beginning.
T-Mobile is far from #1 in coverage.
...
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
T-Mo doesn't even have as much coverage as sprint !!!
...
yeah number one in plans all tho every carrier will have the plans... and id rather pay more anyways for a carrier that will actually ABILITY to call from my house
...
You are sayin they'll be #1 in coverage after they launch their 3g network rite.

Cause i love T-Mobile but that is the only area they lack in even though i don't have that problem but the truth is the truth.

But on the other hand if thats what y...

Actually..

#3 in coverage area by population count.

Not to mention that T-Mo is only following after VZW and at&t on this one. VZW is challenging Sprint to lower their Unlimited plan price.

Sprint not getting on the bus?

You would think they would make an announcement today as well. I know they have test markets with unlimited, but if I were them I would get that nationwide unlimited plan up pronto.

Thats one of the big disadvantages of a "Test Market"... your competition sees what you are doing and they can beat you to the bunch! Didn't those guys at Sprint ever take any Marketing courses in college? damn.
technically, they're the ONLY carrier to provide unlimited call plans WAY before everyone jumped on the bandwagon, it was just pricier.

Sprint will probably release it's new unlimited calling stuff everyone in the nation sometime this week, I presu...

So what does this mean for Hotspot service?

I know that the big marketing gimmick for Hotspot was basically, "Now all of your calls at home will be free, so ditch your home phone." Now that everything can be unlimited regardless of whether or not it's a VoIP call, I wonder how they'll market it?
they'll market it as it is...hotspot service is great for most people who make tons of calls at home...and its only 9.99 on top of their normal plans. not everyone is going to want to pay 100 bux for unlimited calling especially if they don't call muc...

Getting on the Bandwagon!

Helio has been offering their 145 plan at a discounted 99$ for quite some time now.

Interesting that the other carriers are just starting to get on the bandwagon with them.
Helio is barely a national carrier. It's cool and all, but they have no native network, little advertising these days, and few retail outlets.

wouldn't it be nice

IF THESE ***** COMPANIES THOUGHT ON THEIR OWN.
Yes it would be but when someone's unhappy with their service, what's one of the first things that the person will say? Do you have this plan? "Blank Company" that I'm fed up with doesn't and I'll leave them in a heartbeat if you do. I'm sure Verizon ...

it includes text...yay but...

so much for the "deep adoption and evolution of myfaves"....who needs that when you have unlimited?
People who don't want to spend $100 a month on a cell phone bill. If you only call a few people why not get the 39.99 myfaves and save $60.00 bucks a month.

NOT ALL THAT IT SEEMS

Just got the news. Called TMOBILE turns out this "unlimted" had limits. IE HOTSPOT@HOME. USING A NEW LINKSYS. Not a BIG DEAL. Could just use the home phone and save.

BIG UPS to VZW UNLIMTED EVERYWHERE. TMOBILE get it right.
Just to let you know I work for a dealer. The new linksys model number is WRTU54G-TM. Just a new router. So basicly TMOBILE can be your home phone provider.

Your wrong its brand new just announced today. They haven't issued any internal announcements so the rep probably though you were talking about the hotspot@home service. Every article I read says nothing about the wifi service. Its going to be exac...
