Motorola Q9H for AT&T Sighted
In Stores Tomorrow
I went by an ATT Corporate Store this evening. They confirmed that they would receive the Tilt and Q9 tomorrow.
Well this didn't happen again and again and again. AT&T delivers on phones they don't have on their site but delay phones they have listed as coming soon. Users won't get tired and buy something else, they just won't buy anything.

why are people so excited for this phone? Moto's product offerings have been suspect the past few years and until I see otherwise this phone will prolly be another laggy dud.

Sure you can go there but its NOT the US spec 3G its the EU 3G which just won't work here. 3G Network

Att Q9 color
I much more prefer the solid Black Q9 thats aleady released unlocked...I do not care for the silver trim..makes it look more Blocky.. âšī¸
Sure if you don't want US 3G you can have it, but you won't enjoy much in the US with a 2100mhz radio.
Seem edit hacks
Can these be 'seem edited' similar to Vxxx/V3/V3xx phones (i.e. can the dreaded AMR-Half Rate codec be disabled).
You can't seem edit the Q9 Global, its a WindowsMobile device. You can do some reg edits but not what you are talking about.
Verizon droped the ball on the Q9
I'm happy for ATT customers. This phone looks great. As for Verizon, they really drooped the ball on this phone. My contract is up for Verizon and I think its time for a change
switching to at&t will be a mistake but gl with that.

ATT didn't do much better...this phone was cool when announced but it's been so long in development that too many other options now competing, IMO. Maybe MOTO is to blame, but no wifi is probably the killer for me.

i saw this phone in person when i had a motorola rep with the phone come in for a sim card, he said they've been working on the phone for a while but it shouldn't have any bugs when its released....we'll see.

Saw that almost six months ago...the opera browser was not so hot then, sure its much better now. Was heavy though...

Actually it's Opera Mobile, something to get more excited over the Mini. The RAZR 2 also has it built in. A little slower, but more powerful then Mini

I've been waiting for weeks for an official 8925/Tilt announcement. Supposedly it's within days of release, but still nothing. All the retail reps all say even THEY don't know about new units until the day they arrive in stores.
Yet we knew for months before the silly iPhone was released; even had a specific date when it was a month out!
Grrr.

well apple released the date, i think they will do it soon as the 8125 and 8525 are low in supply, i have seen so many 8125 available. also from what i have been told and it is probably a rumor is trhat the original q had software bugs that they want...
