Reduce Storage?

Reducing the storage is a significant concern and will undoubtedly affect sales. They should have, at the very least, included an SD card slot for expandable storage! The smaller screen size, however, is a welcome relief amidst the epidemic of excessively large screens that are almost impossible to use one-handed.
The memory shortage is real. Other manufacturers are doing the same.

But yes, now would be an excellent time for all manufacturers to look very hard at memory card slots for expandable storage.

And I agree that a smaller screen is welcome!

MediaTek processor is disappointing

It's disappointing they continue to ship this with a MediaTek Dimensity processor. According to ChatGPT my Edge + 2023 is still a superior device from a processor/RAM/storage standpoint than this 2026 Edge.

Will Motorola ever make another Edge + Flagship or is it just Razr or bust for that now?
Motorola releases a wider variety of models in other markets. Here in the US, they've found success at the low end, and with foldables, so that's their focus for this market.

They omitted the baometer?

Why omit the barometer ?
No, why would you say that?

Barometers are pretty much required by law, for E911 Z-axis. The phone needs to be able to report its altitude (how high in a building you might be) when you call or message 911.
