Poor Design...

Seems to me that the location of the 911 button could be a problem... I know myself that I have pressed the button above the "END" key dozens of times. Ordinarily this isn't a problem, but in this case, it is the 911 button.

It seems they would have located that button somewhere less-likely to be an accidental press than that. Perhaps in the upper left-hand corner of the phone, with nothing else surrounding it, so that it would only be hit on purpose, as that would be the furthest button from your right-hand dialing finger.

Here's to hoping we don't have more hang-up calls to 911...
I agree, the END button is a bit close to the 911 button.

I think there's gonna be some accidental calls made to 911 made here. On the plus side, old folks are gonna be reassured 'cuz they're talkin' to the 911 operators so often, lol. 🤣
yeah the 911 button placement (and its existance) is pretty rediculous. The ICE keys are great though its nice to see such a common sense idea make it into product design
you guys havent used the phone i see. the 911 button has to be held for a few seconds, and then it says call 911? and you have to select yes.

Verizon's Jitterbug??

so does this show verizon is targeting OLD people, with its new Plans pointing elderly people and new phone allowing easy dialing to 911 you would think they are trying to compete with a provider that offers a plan for $10 a month?
just trying to give a user friendly option.
old people need love too.
Well, it's working. I sold one of these phones on the new America's Choice 65+ plans, and he and his wife were fully aware of Jitterbug. Guess he didn't much care for it.
