Why none of the 3 do not come with more than 128GB of storage makes no sense. Not even an expandable storage option with a micro SD/TF card. If one takes lots of photos/videos, external transfers need to be done often.

It's not impossible that some carriers — or samsung.com — will offer more or different storage options. The international announcement included multiple RAM+storage configurations for each model.
But the US announcement only mentions the base configurations, and US carriers are not known for offering options on phones in this price range. Your best bet is that samsung.com offers an option or two, or that one of the carriers decides to only offer a version with more storage (but don't hold your breath).
