2. What did vzw cripple on devices such as the Moto Q? OBEX? nope, Q can do that, Bluetooth tethering? nope, Q can do that too.
3. Why would you want to sit and bluetooth someone pictures from your phone that is 30 ft away from you. Normally when people want to send pics, they send it to people that are far away and that would have to use pix msg anyways. There is no real point to having OBEX on regular phones. They already have removeable memory. Why put something else on the phone that has the capability of going wrong and then VZW has to pay their tech support more money to fix OBEX probl...

That's why they lost out on the iPhone (not saying it's the greatest thing, but still that thing has so much potetial to give great competition to BB and WM from running on a great OS). Look, they locked great uses of bluetooth cause they want you to use their PAID services. I know it's a business; but hell, why make someone pay more when they are shelling out at least 60 bones a month on the basics that you need?! I use both services VZW (work) and at&t(personal), both have their perks and downsides. The VX6700 has wi-fi, and unless I've been mislead, I believe that it's free to use.
