Ok, if this happens what does that do to nascar? Does that mean it will be called (right now its the Nextel cup, next year its the Sprint Cup and if this happens will it be called the SK Telecom Cup?) Please say that won't happen, if so i'm done i'll start to watch Golf or something... 👿
1st never watch golf . 2nd i think that would funny.
If I'm not mistaken, it will remain the Sprint Cup for the remainder of the 10 year contract, as they will not be allowed to change the name again. However, if they pay enough money, I'm sure they could.
Good call your going to stop watching nascar because the sponsor changed ownership. yea that sounds about as smart as the average nascar enthusiast

I was going to switch to Sprint in 2 years!

But why would they invest in Sprint. That's just stupid.
Sprint has a lot of potential. I do say potential. They just don't have the proper management or policies/procedures currently in place to achieve it.

I work for sprint and i kinda hope that this happens

Cuz then we will have some new bad@$$ handsets that will put sprint at #1!!!!!!!!!!
Sure the new company would have a heck of a time turning customer service around!

But yeah, the U.S. needs much, much better handsets!!! Real camera phones that actually have auto-focus!!!
Don't think this would happen. I think Comcast would have a bigger chance on "buying out Sprint".
I don't believe any of this would happen. mobile_trojan made me realize Sprint can profit on their fiber op. There may be some kind of venture like Spr...
The 6800 is a sick phone, I must admit.
How exactly would better handsets make Sprint numero uno? Phones is at the bottom of that companies sh*t list right now... 🤣
About two and a half weeks ago Dobson was leaked to be looking at selling out to someone. Then last week ATT snatched them up, now the whole time Domson Said it was not true and it was just an option. Sounds like what Sprint and SK are saying.

Interesting. What would it say if, of the four largest wireless carriers in the US, three were at least partially owned by companies in other nations?
this is funny and it would be a great end to sprint. the little phone company that could. =^.^=
Out of those four, only one is actually fully owned by a company outside the US an that would be TMO. yes imaware that Voda has some stake in Verizon, but its not full ownership and from what phonescoop reports they could possibly be selling that back...
It would say that the world's economies are globalizing together.

SK Telecom + Private Equity + Alltel?

Considering Alltel was taken private, if the same investors go with SK Telecom, they could literally merge most Alltel and Sprint operations...

That would be interesting.
