Innovation Not Dead Yet

It's encouraging to see that at least one manufacturer is working to eliminate the intrusive narcissistic notchhole that's been defacing phone screens for almost five years now.

I know that other people's needs and wants are different from my own, but I've never used a front-facing camera, not once, and I resent the inclusion of a so-called "feature" that, to me, is merely unsightly and unnecessary. While Apple's notch houses much more than just the front camera, with FaceID sensors and a couple of early-warning radar arrays in there for good measure, I still find the screen space around the notch just slightly off-putting, especially when viewing webpages in landscape mode.
