New Standard Enables Wireless Charging Using NFC Coil

Rick, Does this mean this new standard of wireless charging will be like a WIFI Signal ? If one of these future enabled phones goes into a Restaurant or a Shopping Mall will it automatically start charging off of area wide infrastructure hardware ? Am I miss-understanding this news release ?

Samsung flagships have had a feature called "Wireless Power Share" for a few years now. lol.
