It's my understanding that the true danger in wireless is where the radio waves are generated from. If that understanding is accurate, then the risk in 5G could be that there are so many transmitters generating the signals, therefore the transmitters might be the real danger.
Your phone both transmits and receives radio waves. The towers / base stations also both transmit and receive.

I agree nothing special about 5G, and as noted especially the mmWave frequencies.
I'd be curious for Rich's or others thoughts on HPUE, high power user equipment as it relates to any concerns for safety (if any).
