Go Figure...

Sprint has upgraded more cities... and now verizon releases theirs in the few areas it is available... 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
heck, I thought Rev. A would be faster, than 800kbps?!?!?!?

That headline a tad further down where it says something about average speeds of 600-kbps to 1.4mbps, that's kinda interesting, slightly above a megabit!!!

It would be nice to see above...

Verizon Rev-A is in more places than they announced!

Though Verizon launched their Rev-A network, the cities they've officially listed aren't the only places they have Rev-A turned on at. There are quite a few major markets they aren't announcing yet, for whatever reason. See for yourself by checking out a cool new google mashup at

That map isn't even completely correct. There are 3 markets near me in central Illinois that have EVDO active. One of them is Rev A, too.
Well, unfortunatley Verizon Rev.A doesn't yet appear to be in Las Vegas, but most of the cities it is in appear to be at speeds between 1.1mbps and 1.6mbps, that's not all that bad, not bad at all.

Personally, I'm going to wait and see what Cingula...
