I Thought...

... according to another article on here palm bought back its OS from access and they were going to create their own OS...
Ask Rich.
I was under the same impression. Did palm sell the rights to Palm OS to access again? or did the original deal where palm purchased their software from access fall through?

I really like palm, but they seem to consistently fall short of their pot...

No. Palm licensed Palm OS from Access, including rights to the source code... to modify it and continue developing enhancements like this new Exchange software.

Access technically still owns Palm OS, and now calls it Garnet OS.

I thought....

the 700p already had Microsoft ActiveSync? I have the 700p and have VersaMail and access my exchange server.

What is this ?
... get mine to sync by itself... i still have to click the stupid get button to receive my emails and then when i delete them on the device and on the server and update it i get the samme emails back...

Sounds to me...

...like Palm didn't have a choice BUT to offer Exchange.

Hey, better late than never.
