Do the Jitterbug!

First Jitterbug, then the Verizon Wireless Coupe and now Cingular(AT&T). Grandma and Grandma friendly phones. Great concept. Hopefully will sell better though 🙂
I guess this phone is only for grandma's........ 🙂

Copy all address book

Just so that everyone knows the correct information about this feature of the phone that was incorrectly posted in a review by attguy. This phone does support copy all but the phone has to be in advanced mode not breeze mode. Then go to address book from the main menu and the copy all from sim to phone or phone to sim is there.

Pantech Breeze Voice Dial

Can anyone tell me how to set up voice dial? There is nothing in the manual, the tutorial, and even the customer service rep didn't know how to do it. I understand that dialing *8 followed by voicing the name will dial the number. But first, there has to be a voice recognition of some type connecting that name to a phone number.

I want to have voice dial for every number in my address book. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pantech USB Data Cable PDC-UA16

I want to upload my own contact-pictures and ringers to the Pantech Breeze. I have the Pantech USB Data Cable PDC-UA16.

*** Where can I find the USB drivers for Windows 2000 or XP? ***

I did upload an MP3 file via Bluetooth. It went into the Audio folder, but when selected from the phone the menu option to make that a ring-tone or group-ring-tone was not enabled.

I transferred some photo from the Breeze to my laptop. They were of poor quality, similar to photos take by a Nokia 6103, and inferior to photos from a Cingular/HTC 3125.

Fitted case for Pantech Breeze

Has anyone heard if they are going to come out with a fitted case with the swivel belt clip. I think it would really help to sell the phone because it would add more protection if you drop the phone?

Nice Phone

This is a nice phone for those who more or less just want a phone. Simple, well designed, intuitive. I think that their PR used the term Universal Design, which as close as I can figure is a buzz work for the school of design that dictates that things like intuitive ease of use for the end user are important, so you get things like a clear UI, easy to read fonts and a general lack of fiddly, awkwardness.

Another thing that this phone has, which is a little surprising, is the ability to update firmware over the air, a capability known as FOTA. When a phone is FOTA-capable, if bugs are found after the device ships, the user need not drag it down to the shop to reflash, rather the phone can download an update over the air. If you are interes...

loud

read a review saying the c520 is loud.

anyone else have any objections?

for example, one of the loudest ringers i could find is "strain" on the nokia 2610, how does the c520 compare?

please and thanks
ringtones are average but the speakerphone is very loud. I got it for muh pops with a prepaid sim for emergencies and lite usage. The charge port and the clamshell design does prove to be difficult for senior hands but pops said he could get used to i...
