I just noticed that the Sierra Wireless 595 aircard has just been released. I was wondering if there was an announced list of areas where Rev-A will work. TIA!!
REV A will be available in the 5 boroughs, long island, westchester, rockland by the end of the year and into january of next year.

sprint not planning on massive expansion of evdo service (they want to upgrade current system to rev. a)
verizon evdo expansion over 100 cities, rev a.
will also be rolled out into the new markets as well as the old.

Why Bring It Up At All?
I do not understand why Verizon even bothered to bring up Rev A. VZW is the best wireless company. Sprint is making a splash with Rev A and that is okay. In my hometown, Mobile, Alabama VZW has rolled out Rev 0 and Sprint is still 1x. Why they are rolling out Rev A when their coverage still has holes with no Rev 0 is beyond me, but that is their deal. Verizon should be above playing that game.

Also of note vzw has not updated thier claims on the size of the evdo network. They have new markets launching almost every day.

literally i think vz has launched like 15-20 new evdo markets in the last month or two. Im always seeing stuff about new markets everyday
