Finally, the best phone in the world

I don't care about the price tag... or at least too much. Hell, make it 300 bucks more and i'd still buy it with no regrets at 1G. I don't know if im the only one here that has noticed it (i highly doubt im alone on this one) but no matter how baddd a$$ the phone is and every single company is subject to the same fault: there is at least one major point missing!! This phone marks a new day in history - Finally the ultimate, satisfy all, phone!! I have been proud owner of a nokia n80 since July of '06 and I love it to death. But but but... there are a few things i feel they could have elaborated on with this phone, and the n95 satisfies all of those things and more!!!! Stereo bluetooth, even better camera but WITH autofocus and CZ lens, bigge...
only thing this thing is missing is a real xenon flash... those led flashes are useless, but i guess better than nothing...

if the n75 is purported to be $399 unsubsidized, how much should this thing cost? $599? $799? $999?
Does it have a touch screen?
And I read somewhere the N95 will be around $700.00.
ok so where do I get one from? I live in NJ could I get one in NY?
i have to say the only thing bad with any nokia is how slow it is.

N75 delayed till next year.

This wonderful looking phone is apparently being delayed till 2007. I spoke to reps at the NYC Nokia Store and was told it's not showing up any time soon. Bah.
Does anyone know anything different (i.e. something more positive about the release date)?

Yea, um, N73 for sale

Everything I've been missing in my N73 comes in this phone and I've only had it for 3 months ☚ī¸. Cant wait to have the new version

Just crazy...

God bless you Nokia. I say keep ignoring Moto's billion dollar trend and keep making them more bulky and pricey. It will be a miracle if you can even contend in the US for another year. Nokia, I love you, but you are so crazy. đŸ¤Ŗ
Here's the difference: Motorola makes phones that look cool and everyone rushes out to buy them but have reliability issues. I have way too many friends who rushed out and got the RAZR/ROKR/SLVR and hated it a couple of months later.

Nokia phones...

I'm about to buy a new phone but i don't know if i should wait (i hate waiting 😡 ) for the N95 or buy the black N73 next month.
Like all "new" technology the N95 may come messed-up and i think Nokia hinted that a future US phone will have the similar features.
The N73 is great minus Wifi plus its black, plus plus i don't have to wait as long. . . . all that to say any advice???
Thanks in advance!!! 😁
Get the N75. We will not be getting the N95, and the device similar to the N95 will probably be introduced well into the year (IMHO). I will, no doubt, be getting the N75. This, to me, is by far the most anticipated phone release for Cingular this y...

for whom?

ok, i'm new to the n series but...damn! looks wicked. 5 mega-pixels. do i have that right? what i am really wondering is when these phones hit the states what company will offer them. do you think they will all be offered by the same one or, each a different company. I'm with verizon but contracts up soon so this could influence where i go]. thanks for any help!!!!
The N75 will almost certainly go to Cingular, but the N95 won't be going to any US carrier, at least not in it's current incarnation. You'd have to get one to use unlocked, but then, you'd have to have service with a GSM carrier in order to use the p...

Why No US 3G Nokia?

This is getting old....
"N75: A new clamshell smartphone with features similar to the N71, but in a thinner, lighter form factor with dedicated music keys on the front. Supports WCDMA 850/1900 and quad-band GSM/EDGE for the U.S. market."

That pretty much screams th...

Rich, clarification please...

Specs from NokiaUSA state the N95 is only triband, and your press release said quadband. Which is it??
The N95 has quad-band GSM, with EDGE.

That's according the official Nokia spec sheet, and verified with Nokia executives at the event yesterday.

stupid N75 question

1. it says BT 2.0 so this should be a given but: does it have A2DP?

2. can we see more pics of this unit. Boston Errol posted some on HoFo, but i still haven't seen the camera lense - must be on the bottom half of the flip.
1. No, the N75 does NOT have stereo Bluetooth. Bummer, I know. ☚ī¸

2. We will have a full in-depth article with photos later this morning.

I just realized...

Both pictures of phones that are not the flip phone are for the same phone, so no pic for the 8 gigabite one, I'm guessing bc it looks just the same as the previous 4 gigabite one?
Yes, it will look IDENTICAL, yes internally will have the 8GB motor, VROOM...VROOM!!
Yes, it looks the same, but black.

am i the only one that finds this ridiculous?

5 megapixel autofocus camera w/ Zeiss lens? Wouldn't that CAMERA alone cost $300 a year ago? i'm scared of nokia. i'm not scared of the price, b/c high tech costs high $$. i'm scared b/c the phone industry is developing devices that seem to belong in a some futuristic anime or something... 👀
Yes, it's just you. 😉

I think we're just getting to the good stuff. Now if only they'd put all of this new stuff into the E70 form factor...

Speaking of which, WTH happened to the E70-2? Are we ever going to see it, or was it killed bef...

Thanks Rich! Just what was lookin for!

😁 Yup yup. I want one of those! Sorry but those lackluster phones at the 2006 Holiday Preview left a bad taste in my mouth. All except the Samsung D900.

Even more expensive

Yet even more phone/pda/media all-in-one devices that is going to cost an arm and a leg.

Sucks to be poor when you're a gadget freak.

Can't wait!

Looks like Nokia's back! I'm so excited. I'll probably buy all of them, as they come out. Hopefully, the N75 will come out in October, along with the E62.
