It's about time.

It only takes this company a few quarters of losing customers to comprehend they are behind in the times. Superior network, yes. Inferior business practices yes as well.
at&t is not losing customers. None of the major wireless carriers are, not even Sprint.

No savings with new plans.....

From what it looks like, yes you'll get an addtional 1GB on something like the existing 15GB data plan and the plan fee would go down $10. However if what I've read is true the monthly device charge would go up from $15/phone (on 15GB data plan) to $20/phone. If you have 4 lines you'll save $10 on the plan but pay $20 more for the device charge netting AT&T an extra $10/month. #FAIL

Seems like it's nothing more than a card shuffle game.
