I would keep an eye on Pantech......
They have the ability to be a major player in the US market. With their acquisition of SKT, they will offer phones on par with LG and Samsung. The Helio phone is a good example of what they can do.
Regarding Verizon phones: They decide what they will offer their customers. The phone vendors have to comply with their requests.

Damn verizon has the coolest phones. They have the best network so they can't offer cool phones. 🙄
This is a great phone for third world countries. Since the United States is quickly becoming one why can't we have this phone.
