FCC Approves Motorola Q
So, which carrier(s) will carry this?
Sprint, VzW, Alltel, US Cellular? They're all CDMA carriers. So which will offer this?

VZ Navigation capable?
Does anyone know if this phone will have Verizon's VZ Navigation? I've used it for a few days on the Motorola 325 and the LG 9800, and it is terrific. It is nearly as good as a factory navigation system.
The issue with the Motorola 325 is no Bluetooth, so you can't use it with a hands free car kit.
The LG 9800 only allows use of VZ Nav with the phone flipped open, which unfortunately disables any Bluetooth device, and enables the speakerphone.
So I'm still waiting for the right VZ-Nav capable phone.

does the FCC ever reject a cell phone, things are always getting approved... i wonder if any applications ever fail?
I would guess that there are lots of failed applications - it would explain why certain phones don't come to the market right away, because they didn't get approved without going back to the manufacturer for modification.

. . . now if only this lives up to the hype. Even my dad has heard of it, & asked me if Cingular was getting it. Personally, I'm somewhat intrigued, but wary of Motos being less substance than icon. At least now we'll all have a chance to find out.
