A premium service?

I really hope this is not another premium service.

I go out to eat with coworkers in a small group. We go dutch treat, and sometimes its difficult to split bills, etc. A mobile pay system like this would be a good way to settle transactions, instead of balancing credits towards future free lunches.

I really do not want to pay an additional $2.99 a month for the ability to send money. At that point, id rather go to the ATM.

Now THAT's a legitimate concern.

C'mon...this is hosted by the few people who believe they were abused by PayPal. In reality, this site makes life a hell of lot easier.

Awsome... if it's done right.

Dude, that would be frickin' awsome. And it is secure if you really think about it. You sign up over a secure web connection, and then you just let pay pal know via text how much you want to send. There is no important information shared. And even if someone got a hold of the text, all they would know is how much you sent or recieved. Wow, great way to pay or loan friends money.
