Video Tour: T-Mobile Shadow

Hey guys!

Sorry if I'm violating any rules (I'm new :-P), but I just wanted to let anyone who might want an original HTC Shadow from T-Mobile (can be unlocked). It's in great conditions with the expected wear and tear of a phone that was bought roughly 1 and 1/2 years ago. However it was given great care and was only used for 3 months. It comes in the original box with all accessories and manuals. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. If you want pics just ask and I'll post!

When i get a text the ringtone wont shut off it will keep playing even AFTER i send the perosn a txt back if you could help please do and dose anyone know about a web site the has the manual for the shadow

Hey is it possible to set ringtones/songs off of the memory card or do the ringtones have to be on the phone thanks 🙂

This phone actually has a VGA screen however the OS downrezz's the display. If you see the phones screen the pixels are barely perceivable but the graphics look jaggy, due to being downrezzed.

Has anyone ever used the feature the shadow has that reads your msgs out loud? I have no idea what its called n couldnt find it in the manual. the feature was shown to me b4 i bought it so i know it exists 😁 ...any help is appreciated!

I was wondering how different languages can be put on the shadow and if it supports other written systems such as chinese. if anybody has any idea how to do this I would appreciate it. Thanks

I love this phone but the only problem is that i cant download games i play games all the time and have anyone heard anything when our phone will have the capibilites to download games?????

Just got the Tmobile Shadow with Windows Mobile 6 but there is no Remote Desktop program on it. I found "WM6 RDP-Finster.cab" on the web for the install but was unsuccessful to run it. Does anybody know how I can get Remote Desktop to run on my Tmobile Shadow? Thanks in advance.

I just signed on to T-mobile from at&t. At&t customer service sucks but the T-mobile reps where I got my phone did not know there products AT ALL! Anyway...

What is the coolest thing about the Shadow that you love??

I love the weight, look and screen. I havent had any battery issues well not anymore than any other windows based phones Ive owned. The T-reps made sure to tell me that the battery was horrible. I talked to 3 different ones at different times and that is the first thing they told me when I said I was interested in the shadow.

Also could you tell me if it can be used on the wifi hotspot unlimited talk thing? The reps didnt know. One said yes, one said no and one didnt know.

Ok so I have both email accounts but wanted to know how they work with the Shadow.

Will it poll the emails every 15 minutes or do either of them push to the phone quicker than the other?

I just had a few questions about the shadow capabilities. first of all I want the ability to have a nintendo emulator on my shadow. is it possible to do this or is it only possible on the dash? second if I get the $5.99 internet will my live search feature function the same. what else is sacrificed with this version of the internet?

I was wondering if anybody had tried using the new 6GB or 8GB microSDHC memory card with the Shadow. I know that the 4GB card will work, but I figure if I'm going to buy a new memory card, I might as well get the largest available that the phone will take. I'm not sure when the 8GB was released, but I think the 6GB might have been out for a bit, so I figure if the the 6 works, then the 8 will as well.

One day I programmed my alarm to go off at 9:00. Even though I have disabled it, it still goes off at 9:00 every morning. I've tried to restart my phone. I tried to take out the battery, then restart it. But nothing has worked. Has anyone had this problem? Any solutions?
