Motorola to Let People Test Customized Moto X Risk-Free

Really only good for AT&T and even then it's not perfect.

The unlocked model doesn't support CDMA or LTE bands 12, 13, 26 or 41. It also doesn't include any of AT&T's specialized carrier aggregation bands.

Motorola needs to hurry up with the 2015 Moto X.

Is Moto really that desperate?

Don't get me wrong, it's cool for customers. But their numbers must be looking pretty grim.
They are probably trying to clear stock in anticipation of the 3rd gen Moto X.
