AT&T Offering Push-to-Talk API to Businesses

Going, going, gone...

Funny that AT&T is making another push at PTT, given that PTT is hardly even on anyone's radar any more.

At Sprint there seems to be no progress or announcements relative to PTT. Infrequent, sporadic announcements of new phones, and no advertising or promotion of PTT at all. Sprint store personnel are clueless relative to PTT.

At Verizon, absolutely nothing said about to PTT for so long I can't even remember the last news about anything PTT-related at VZ. Two years ago when we tried out PTT in a VZ store it required the manager himself to go into the back room to dig up and cobble together two PTT phones for us to try, because none were on display, and no one else in that store even knew how VZ PTT functioned.
