AT&T Improves GoPhone Data Allotments

Gophone charges 60.00 for 4 GB but Cricket gives 10 GB for same price. Why such a disparity if both are owned by AT&T?
For sure, one thing is Cricket throttles data (LTE speed = 8 mbps, I think 3g/HSPA = 2 mbps). I'm guessing ATT proper doesn't do that.. 😳
Because instead of having Cricket coverage, you get AT&T.

Because while they are both owned by at&t, they are still run as separate companies. Cricket sets its own prices and plans, and at&t sets its own prices and plans. at&t doesn't create Cricket's policies.
