Facebook to Display Amber Alerts
Can We Disable?
I live in California - I see an Amber Alert at least every 3 weeks. It got to the point the last 2 years that I've become immune to them that they are no longer effective.
Is there a way to turn these off in Facebook so that way I am not bothered with it further. I know they claim that only users in potential search areas will be notified but lets be honest, if a kid goes missing from Los Angeles, everyone from Arizona to Mexico and Bakersfield south to the border will be notified thats a huge portion.
