Marketing Gimmick

Just like rollover minutes this sounds a lot better than it is. Sure there are some people out there who are inconstant with how much data is used each month and this would be good for them. But I have done hundreds of account reviews for customers to get an idea of the data they use each month and the vast majority of them are fairly consistent in their usage. So if someone is getting 5 GB of data/month and only uses ~3/month, then why do they need 7 the next month and 9 the next month and 11 the next, etc.

Yawn

Sorry, this only applies if you bought extra data. In other words, if you're on the 4 lines for $100 which includes 2.5GB per line per month, you can't rollover your data.
This means if you purchased it you can keep it for a year. This is good. Some months are light data months and other months I use the whole 6GB. Perhaps this mean I won't have to worry about throttling any longer.
Everyone wants something for nothing. I guess you're included. The Data Stash is for people who BUY additional data so they don't lose it.

The only carrier that MAY follow is Sprint, and they may do it in such a convoluted way that it wont be worth it.

Simply they will say that all your data will be roll over data, and call it something stupid like Banked Data or Data Save or somethin...
