NOKIA 3220 (back light)

I have a client with a 3220 from Nokia.

She is having a small problem with the back light.

It only stays on for 2 seconds.....

I'm sure under menu, settings, display light, there should be options for this?

Can someone tell me step-by-step on how to
make the backlight (LCD screen) to stay on longer....

THANKS in advance for any help...

Have a great week.

no time displayed on 3220

Hello guys,

I have this very awkward problem 😁. Yesterday, I had to remove the battery from my cell in order to switch SIMs...of course, I've done this before, and I knew that I will have to reset the time and date. Which I, of course, did. But now, I don't have the watch displayed on the screen anymore (in the top-right corner). I've looked in the menus, I've reseted the phone to factory settings, I tried taking the battery of and reset time and date, but nothing. Can you give me a hint over here? how do I put the watch back on my display?

thanks
Go to MENU, SETTINGS, CLOCK+TIME, CLOCK and you will find an option to SHOW or HIDE CLOCK.

OEM Nokia 3220 Faceplate Black

I have been all over the internet looking for an OEM Black Faceplate. I got my Nokia 3220 from Cingular and they put a silver/blue faceplate on it. I see that T-Mobile put a black/blue faceplate on theirs and I like that better. It's so weird that I can't find anywhere to buy it. I've only found in the UK and I would have to pay 38 something dollars for it and that NOT including shipping. I've done google searches. Put in every combination I can think of. Does anyone happen to know where I can buy this? Open to ideas. Thanks.
hello, I've found many faceplates and accessories at this website.

PROBLEM accessing internet from the apps.

Hi to all!
I have an annoying problem. I know it's a rather common problem for 3220 users, but still... I can't accsess the internet from the applications of any kind (java games, opera mini). I had my phone flashed to a 05.10 version and nothing helped. I created the access point in Personal Configurations and that didn't help either. Please, if anyone knows any cure for that, that would be great! Thanx.

Does anyone else have a buzz in the earpiece.

My 3220 has an annoying buzz, even when using the earpeice. It gets louder as you turn the volume up. It sounds like when you have a speaker turned up really loud with no music on.

Does anyone else have this problem? It could be that I got a defective phone.
Hi jagster,

Yes! The buzzing is why I came to search phonescoop tonight. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one, but I hope this problem can be resolved with a replacement phone.

I got my Nokia 3220 about 2 weeks ago and I love everything else a...

Voice Memom as Ringtone Q..

My question is about using the voice memo for the ringtone. How is the quality? How long does it record? How many can you use? Can you have a different ring tone for different callers using this voice memo to do it? Thanks for your reply/
i think you can only set different ringers for groups not single people...i had that phone but it was like a year ago...but alot of nokias only let you do it for groups and not single people
