Voice Platform

Yeah, the same voice platform that is so unpleasant that I'd rather listen to nails on a chalkboard rather than have a call from a Verizon customer.

Earlier today, one of my friends called me on my work landline, and he's on Verizon. His voice had this awful screeching compression to it, it was dreadful. It was like his voice was compressed, then compressed again, and then processed through a low bandpass filter to cut out all the depth and low frequencies of his voice. Just completely terrible call quality.

When T-Mobile wants to take the burden off its network their network is inferior. When Verizon decides it wants to do the same (and make no mistake about it---they will) it will be because they want to enhance the user experience for all of their customers or some other such rubbish. BURN Evil Red BURN!
if they count this towards your data using your miniscule data package they offer at a terrible price too.

Yes it does to me also. AT&T and Verizon just don't want to admit that there networks don' work everywhere. It's physically impossible to have your cellphone work everywhere. But Wifi can be implemented anywhere. Wifi calling is not only good for usin...

VoLTE Between carriers

Will HD calling work between carriers? Or will each carrier's HD calling only work within it's own network? 😕
From my conversation with a Verizon engineer, it's going to be cross-carrier; at least that's the goal.
At first it will be only on the same carrier. I'm sure connection deals need to be worked out or some standard for it.
