LG Says Not All Phones Merit OS Upgrades

So regardless if Google will support upgrades for 18 months, it seems if a carrier wants to make money by selling the newest device more, by not updating the OS within its previous "latest and greatest" and using the newest version of the OS as an incentive, the consumer will end up paying for it all in the end and contribute to more e-waste, as well as carriers being looked at as more evil. Lovely.
