This patent IS essential and important

IPCom made a great discovery for routing emergency calls. The way it works is, they take the 911 call and round off the corners so it can slip past all of the other network traffic easier. Apple cannot be allowed to copy this innovation without fair compensation.

My understanding is they patented the precise chamfer plus the addition of a small quantity of "go grease" to allow it move more quickly. No doubt their method for removing traces of the go grease from the atmosphere is also patented and they are wait...

No way they can weasel out of this one. I hope Apple loses this one. Obama's administration can't save you now mwahahaha :3
That's exactly what I noticed about Apple lawsuits in the US. It seems like Apple is protected somehow.

No one can save their a$$ in an international court!
