this is messed up

so your telling me the Galaxy S4 that i bought in July 1st is re released with chipset to allow sprint spark?
Yes, time and technology march on. Would it make you feel better if they slapped a different name on it?
It's technically the 2500 MHz antenna, not the chipset.

I believe the older model does support dual-band (800/1900) LTE, which is better than Sprint's many single-band (1900-only) LTE phones.

Spark is just Sprint's branding for tri-band LTE.

How do you tell apart the old GS4 from the new?
