Is it really going to make a difference?

Is it going to actually change anything?

Is anyone overly excited about this deal?

Will the merger improve Sprints' customer service?

Many questions, but I guess we have to wait and see.

Time to dominate the industry

Now, that the companies are officially merged and one, it is time to see what their assets, and the best management can do to make them the best in the industry, and I strongly believe that they will.
The ability to say they are one company isn't going to change anything yet. It's going to take an extremely long time before Sprint and Nextel will be able to brag about dominating the industry in any perspective.

Getting Nextel Phones.....

With the New Merger, is it possible for me to get a Nextel phone without having to pay a deposit, or is Sprint and Nextel still 2 different services and I have to sign up with Nextel to get a phone and go by the Nextel contract?
Nextel and Sprint will still run as separate services for a while...although it will be made to where you can more easily switch between the two.

So much for court action...
