Wow, good or bad?
Hopefully Moto will improve its software issues, and Samsung will improve its redundant styling. This could be great for consumers, not so great for Moto and Samsung.

Basic Technology, not RAZR miniaturization
This agreement is about the use of fundamental technologies underlying both GSM and CDMA (which both companies have major patents). It does not go beyond that.
Interesting Move...
IMO, this this move by the manufacturers will help prevent any lawsuits similar to that of NTP vs RIM type lawsuits. Especially in the case of Samsungs RAZR-like offering.
