If Reagan did it back in '87

everyone should be happy, right?
Any problem with it would be because he is showing apparent favoritism towards Apple. Why step in to defend Apple when he wouldn't do the same for any of the phone Apple got banned?

Irresponsible Journalism

Eric, I know you were just regurgitating news here, but I do feel that it's somewhat important to point out that "Obama" probably had no part in this whatsoever, other than hiring, and thus empowering the man who wrote and signed this "veto". Sure, it's a power granted to "The Office Of The President", but not one granted solely to the president himself. It was assigned to a member of his staff, and that member in his veto plainly stated that it was ultimately "his" decision after having consulted with trade boards, NOT the President. So when you say "Obama saves blah blah blah", know that its not true at all as its written.
FOOL! remember the woman spilled coffee on her lap? it' not MacDonald fault, it' their employee fault! why is this woman getting million$ from MacDonald when it' not MacDonald fault? but just their employee fault? what a freaking idiot!

So how does this?

Decision "protect innovation" as I saw Apple commented? Now all companies that don't want to license a critical patent can just say F you and government will not do anything. To me that is basically rewarding patent cheats.

I never understood the Crapple arrogance to assume their patents are better than others. Dang everyone needs Samsung's patents and HAVE to have a lot of them. Seems like this decision just takes innovation and throws it out the window. I think this threatens companies from making critical patents available for everyone as they know the government will not back them up.

Free to pursue apple in court

Samsung pursues apple --> Sues apple --> court case --> ITC ban --> overthrown by government --> Samsung pursues apple --> sues apple --> court case --> ITC ban - overthrown by government.

So yeah, Samsung, feel free to pursue Apple in court...
