As a developer I'm really happy to know that there are emerging platforms (environments) that are compatible with what we currently have, at least to a certain point, and they offer a completely different experience to the final user.

It would ne nice to have a breakdown of which bands and what schemes are going to be covered by this device. It's hard to pre-order when it is impossible to know if it is going to do any better than GSM/GPRS with a particular carrier.
I love my N900, which runs on Maemo, a predecessor of the Sailfish OS so I'm interested but Band IV AWS WCDMA has to be covered to help me since I am on T-Mobile in a smaller market.
