What a shame

This was the single greatest tool ever produced by Google. It was available before most browsers were capable of displaying web content. It was, until the moment they shut it down, faster than any web browser for finding information.
It was available to anyone with a cell phone and text plan.

I am sad and disappointed that this incredible feature is gone.
It seems like Google and other companies are trying to force adoption of data enabled smart phones. Java based mobile apps for feature phones are being phased out also. SMS based queries are not as useful for data-mining.

I still used this

When I am on EDGE I use this because its faster than letting my smartphone load for what seems forever for the results to load.
