GPS Always on

I signed into my Google and now the GPS arrow is always on. And under location services it's highlighted purple next to Google.
Turned it off and the icon went away. I would think this would be a battery drain issue if Google Now is always using your GPS location.
Google Now is a location based service, so you do need the GPS to be turned on to use it

Card-Like format?

I'm not even sure what they mean by this, but this is not for me.

Unless it is presented to me in some pie-related format, like a pie chart, pie graph, or etched into an actual pie itself, I am not interested.
Cherry or apple pie?
Google Now works by presenting you with a list of 'cards' containing relevant information that you want....the cards that I have chosen are my traffic to work, the weather and some sports scores.....you'll get a notification when something changes, b...

It won't be as good

I'm happy to see Google Now being extended to more platforms, but it won't have the level of integration into the OS that it does on Android because Apple isn't as open about allowing access to the OS by apps....
I might get an iPhone now. I hate Siri's robotic voice.
