Great video. It did not mention the most important shortcoming of this phone - no 3G (2100 only) in the US

like i said, i literally ran out of time. i easily could have made a 30 minute video, but that would have bored everyone, including me.
but i'd have to argue that no US 3G is not the biggest shortcoming. as much as i love the speed of 3G data, i have not been disappointed by browsing the desktop web or checking my mail at EDGE speeds. if want to do anything like stream video, i admit i wait til i'm around a wifi hotspot (since wifi on the N95 rocks!) but it's not like streaming video over cingular's 3G network is so rock solid awesome to begin with, at least not by my own experience or that of other phonescoop members.

Yeah, I've had my N95 for less than a week and probably the most surprising thing about it is how fast the browser is, even over EDGE speeds (I use it with T-Mobile). I attribute it to the higher amount of RAM the phone has. It's not as fast as 3G, but it has been a pleasant surprise.

Verizon and Sprint have the Bay Area covered very well with 3G and it is actually reliable. I don't think it's fair to write off enhanced broadband speeds and everything that comes wiht it because one carrier can't get their act together.
