AT&T's LTE Covers 150 Million POPs in 103 Markets

We finally have LTE and it's lightening fast here. Our HSPA signal is amazing here too so for me to say the difference is really noticeable is something. Most thought it wouldn't be too much faster than HSPA, anyway although it may be fast we cannot talk and surf the web using it like HSPA. I don't like that. Anyone else feeling the same way?

Verizon beat them to it by at least 2 years !
The lies in AT&T's TV ads claiming they have the nation's largest LTE network make me want to throw something at the TV every time they air them. This company's history of lying in their ads goes back well over a decade when I got suckered in to their Digital One Rate back in '97. Verizon has literally buried them ever since IN EVERY WAY except for AT&T's getting the iPhone first.
Does one need to wonder why AT&T is the lowest rated wireless carrier of the nation's top 4 in Consumer Reports? And that's in ALL areas .... Coverage, call quality, drop calls, customer service, etc.

They don't say 'largest LTE network', they say 'largest 4G', which is arrived at by adding the LTE coverage to the HSPA+ coverage.....and is an accurate claim.

Data speeds
Has anyone compared data speeds on the LTE network (compared to the HSPA+ network). I was in Boston and New Haven CT over the summer and had phenomenal speeds, but last week down in New York City I was getting speeds slower than HSPA+ (and yes, both times the LTE icon was displayed on the phone).

LTE has been up and running since Tuesday here in Portland. Hoping that it's a soft launch and they are still working out the kinks with it though because the speeds are actually consistently SLOWER than the HSPA+ signal. Turning off my LTE radio until this is worked out.

It would depend on how big the blocks of spectrum they're using. If they're using 5 MHz blocks of channel for LTE but more for HSPA+, that could explain it.
