AT&T Has Change of Heart, to Allow Some FaceTime Over Cellular

Clearing confusion up.

AT&T basically says all LTE enable Apple products will be able to use Face-time over cellular regardless of data plan. But non-LTE Apple products needs Mobile Share data plan for their device to use Face-time over cellular
haha perfect way to rack up those overages ;). For those of you who arent familiar with how data works and think " I Dont need more then 3GB of data ever" you will if you chose to do this lol.

Does this mean that its going to use data or is that not going towards your data allotment? If not can skype calls also be data charge free for android and windows phones?

Can skype calls also have no data charges, yeah, like AT&T would EVER do that. It's a nice idea though, but it will not happen. Look - AT&T said it was okay to use Facetime, but ONLY with iPhone 5, mean...

That's still not cool that the iPhone 4's or 4s can't use FaceTime without being on wifi or the specific data package. I wish I wasn't pentalized for being grandfathered into the unlimited data package!
