Motorola Droid RAZR M / Luge Data Speeds On T-Mobile

I bought four Motorola Luges a week ago. I am thinking about unlocking them and using them on T-Mobile. What data bands/speed would I get with these on T-Mobile? Would it be just 2G/3G on T-Mobile?

Sounds great.

I wonder how "Water repellent" this phone will be? It this a semi rugged phone that i can drop in a pool and it should be fine? sounds nice if so...

Accessing SD card storage

Has anyone had trouble accessing the SD card in order to store backup, or to move files?
Whenever I run MyBackupPro, I select the option to store on SD card, but it ends up in internal storage of the device. Same with Gobackup.
I can access the SD drive externally when I plug into a computer, so i can see that the backups are not there.
As far as I can tell, the only way to add things to the SD card is to add it while connected to a PC in Mass Storage mode.

GSM

The phone has GSM radios on it so is it safe to assume if you unlock the phone it can be used on other US carriers?
Verizon will never allow it. However, if you ask nicely they will unlock it so it works with overseas SIM cards.
No, it is not safe to assume that. Verizon generally does not allow that with its phones.

While there may be a way to do it, it likely involves a lot more rooting and hacking than your typical "unlock" process. That kind of rooting and hacking carr...
