$300 for brand new top of the line unlocked android?

Ive been reading around mostly googles site so pardon me is this isn't in the story but its 300 bucks for an unlocked, no contract 8gb of memory, 2gb of ram and a quad core s4 processor. when the first razr droid came out on Verizon it was 300 WITH 2 yr contract still in tow. i think that is an incredible deal seeing most any unactivated android on any carrier is 350. and they also didn't include a micro sd card slot because of a $15 licensing fee per a phone from Microsoft for the exFAT licensing.

One Pricey little sucker...

first though seeing specs
*who the heck makes a phone with only 8gb internal anymore?!?!?*

Thought after seeing the price
*WHAT?!? Really the 8gb cost 300 and 350 for a 16gb. I can pick up a card for 8gb for like 2 bucks now. Apple was the gay devil that pulled that stuff before, Why google now? Besides is the nexus line that popular that they can afford to do that and get away with it. sd slot aside. 16gb is weak but come on google. 8gb is just laughable now.. most new higher end phone have at least 16 base and a good chunk now with 32 internal stock.... that nokia 920 looks better everyday....*

I would have never expected this phone to

not have LTE. Referring to the unlocked version.
The unlocked Galaxy Nexus doesn't have LTE either....only HSPA+

Motorola

I am surprised Motorola has not made a Nexus device since Google officially acquired it. It seems to me like Motorola has been pushed to the back burner when it comes to the Nexus line.

I hope it isn't a total POS

Like every other LG device I have ever tried.
I hope it isnt either, because if its good, Ill upgrade and save $170 over the note 2 😁
Hint: Read our review of the AT&T/Sprint LG Optimus G.
