2021?

That's.....extremely conservative.....they don't plan to have everyone converted to LTE for 9 more years?
agreed. This seems like a far off date. I guess there are always stragglers but 9 years is a long time...
...
Right. There are plenty of customers (like my mom) who will never see a 4G handset. I remember how people held onto those Nokia 5165s until the very end.
...
The OnStar system built into most GM cars uses Verizon CDMA. Most people don't replace their cars as often as their phones.
...
Enterprise and government contracts. It's easy to kick off individual users.

Guideline ?

The exact quote is:

"The date Aparna referenced while talking to you is a guideline that we are providing customers who have to plan, fund and transition large enterprise projects to the faster speed networks,"

Okay, so, you are trying to imply that Aparna referenced a date that is either A) Not True or B) True, however, based on your exact quote, there's a possibility that this "Guideline" is untrue, which would mean that it is Meaningless, so therefore, you are lying to your Largest business customers ? Could you be any more unclear about this?

Verizon: WHY YOU NO JUST TELL DATE???
It would be silly to give an exact date when one doesn't have to. No one is on a greater than two year contract. As long as Verizon honors those contract they are good, *Groan* Defending Evil Red really makes me ill. I need an Alka Seltzer.

No surprise.

Verizon has always said that they would keep 1x running until 2020.
Its business if it don't make money its gone.
