What's the point of launching an EV-DO card if you don't even offer the service yet and aren't going to for another half a year? Sounds pretty senseless and pointless to me.
Let's think about it. What use would it be for Sprint to launch their EV-DO service with no one being able to use it? Getting the equipment out *before* the launch, as soon as EV-DO goes live, there's an instant customer base using the product.
